Check your passports!

First things first - take a look at your passport expiration date to confirm that you will have at least 6 months of validity from the time of your planned travel dates. The passport renewal process can take a few months, so please give yourself plenty of time to ensure your passport will be valid.

We recommend booking your flights early!

Most airlines will begin to accept flight bookings for August '25 travel dates by early September '24. Keep an eye on your preferred airlines in the coming weeks as flights start to become available.

Where should you travel into?

Option 1 - Travel into Florence (Amerigo Vespucci Airport - FLR). Our venue is a 30 minute drive from the Florence airport!

Option 2 - Travel into Rome (Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport - FCO), and then take a ~2 hour high speed train into the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station. Our venue is a 20 minute drive from the train station!

Please refer to Trenitalia or Italo websites for more information on the high speed trains from Rome to Florence.

We also encourage utilizing Airbnb and Vrbo if you are interested in staying all together with your family or a group of friends in a nearby villa. Keep in mind, separate transportation to and from the venue may need to be arranged by you for these locations. You are also welcome to take advantage of the many hotels Florence has to offer! Our recommendation is to stay near the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi so you can still take advantage of the complimentary transportation. Sonder the Sonetto is another great hotel option within short walking distance of the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi.
